Can I call to rent a unit?
Unfortunately we
are unable to do that over the phone. All rentals and reservations need to be
completed through our website. But please call with any questions!
Do I need to provide my own lock?
No, we provide a
combination disc style lock free of charge. This is the type of lock required
by tenant protection. You are welcome to use your own lock, but a disc or
cylinder lock is required with tenant protection.
Do you offer any discounts?
Yes, If you pay
for your unit 1 year at a time, we offer a 5% discount.
What should I store my belongings in?
We highly recommend you store your belongings in plastic totes of some
sort. Plastic totes are way better than cardboard boxes or plastic bags.
Do you recommend we store stuff OFF the
ground?
Yes, it is recommended that you use pallets or something to elevate your
items off the ground which will allow for air flow. We also recommend you
leave space between the wall and your belongings to allow air flow as well.
What items cannot be stored?
Food, hazardous
materials (paint, fuel), explosives (propane tanks), illegal items, and living
things (plants/animals).
Do you insure my items?
No, We strongly suggest Tennant protection which offers different coverage
options.

How do I give notice for move out?
Park Falls Builders Storage does not prorate move out dates. Please
contact us at least 30 days prior to your move out date in order to
receive your security deposit. Call us at 715-762-3255,
or text us at 715-631-6831. Deposits typically are returned
after the 1st of the following month.
Why is there is a Silver keyed lock on my
unit?
This would mean your unit is locked due to past due payment not made.
Please make payment and we will do our best to get the silver keyed lock off of
your unit in a timely fashion. Typically within 48-72 hours of payment.
Can I live in or work out of my unit?
No. Living or sleeping in a storage unit is illegal and a violation of rental agreements. Additionally, we do not allow units to be used as workshops or active businesses due to zoning and insurance regulations.
